They are what got me through Couch to 5K. I would love you to make more mixes and such for a 10K. I have absolutely LOVED your podcasts, and it's introduced me to a ton of new songs in the Hip-Hop and R&B genres. Like someone else said...when I got to "Gotta Get a Nutt" and "Pussy Control" I busted out laughing while running :-D.

Thanks to you and the whole c25k program, I've lost 30 lbs and 3 dress sizes, and I'm starting Week 6 today. You're fabulous Suze!

Re: Podcasts

Found it! I just finished week 1 with Robert Ullrey's couch to 5k. I love having someone to tell me when to walk/run, but don't think I could have stuck with that music for 9 weeks. Your music looks awesome! I got all the music downloaded, and I hope I can figure out how to get them onto my ipod. I could not find the MJ tribute which I would love!! Anyone know where to find that one? Thanks again!! -Becky

Re: About

Hi,
I really appreciate your response!

I also appreciate the fact that you would have made the changes, it means a
lot! I can honestly say, having Lillian in my life has changed a lot of my
views in life. Before she was born, I didn't get the fuss of the "retard"
word, but I completely understand it now.

I will continue to use your podcasts, but probably will skip week 2
(actually, I already have). I'm married to a sailor, and the cussing I can
deal with :) Your podcasts have really pushed me to enjoy running again,
and I thank you for that.

I guess I can only hope that one day...even if it's a long ways away, you
will have time to re-edit week 2. But in your own time and when your new
computer is taken care of. It's funny, I actually had downloaded the
podcast a few months ago, but just started using them. I guess if I was
serious about running back then, you would have been easily able to make
those changes!

Thank you for the quick response and good luck with the computer situation!
I will continue to use the podcast, because the music is just that good!

Sincerely,

Sonia Brown

Re: About

Hi Sonia,

Thanks for the message. Unfortunately, my main computer (which has all the song segments, timing used, and recorded vocal cues for these podcasts reside on my old computer, which recently died on me last week. If I didn't think it would take a ton of work now to create an alternate version of that particular podcast for you, I would absolutely do it. It would just take so much work, since I don't have anything except the finished podcasts that appear on the site.

I'm aware that there are probably quite a few songs within my playlists that are offensive to some, the BEP song included. There is cussing and some of the songs have questionable content. I've never been a fan of radio edits, and I own the Black Eyed Peas album in question, and the version that appears on there is what's on the playlist. I'm sorry that it struck a chord and understand why you would rather not use that podcast. My sincere apologies.

I initially created these so I could get myself running. When people started asking what I was using and could I share, I did. But the emphasis was and has always been on my musical likes. I guess that's the risk you take when you put your product out there.

Like I said, I'd love to create a modified version for you, but when my new computer gets here in a few days, I have to start from scratch. I have to remember and reinstall every single program I had on before (hundreds). I have to redownload a large music library, upon other things. I just don't think I can start taking individual requests with all I have going on right now. Had you asked a couple of weeks ago, no problem. It only would have taken about 15-20 minutes.

If you no longer wish to use my podcasts, I understand. I can refer you to another great set, provided by another nice c25ker. Hopefully her Week 2 playlist will work for you. You really picked out great music to keep me going and working hard. Week 2, I had a bit of trouble getting through. You have the song, "Let's get retarded" and it almost knocked me off my tracks...you see I have a daughter with Down syndrome and was totally not expecting it. However, I could say it was my fault because I didn't take the time to read through the music list that you provided.

So, I could ask if you wouldn't mind changing that song to the updated version...which can you? I will understand if you said No...because it's not my podcast and I do understand that you may or may not care (but I'm kinda of hoping you do)

Thank you,

Sonia

Re: Podcasts

Hi Suz-

Just wanted to let ya know that I really appreciate the 'casts. I have never listened to much hip-hop, but I was getting a little burned out on Robert Ullrey's space music. :)

I picked your podcasts up in time for week 4, and when I got to "Pussy Control" I actually was laughing ... out loud... halfway through my run... I thought that was a pretty awesome accomplishment on your part! :) The podcasts are definitely adding a new energy to my workout, and I love it!

Thanks again!

Sarah

Re: Setting Fall Fitness Goals

The P90X has a couple variations -- the original, the lean and doubles. The lean version might work for you -- more cardio. I liked both, but will start the original again in a couple days. The doubles is the original program, plus a cardio later in the day.

The programs are longer than a typical tape, but I enjoyed them -- just a matter of getting off the sofa!

If you want to modify the CE for a leaner version, try checking out the website for suggestions. I also did the Slim in 6 program. It does work, but found doing the same thing every day a bit dull. P90X mixes it up a bit more, and is more challenging.

Thanks for the C25K mixes -- nice to have different music and checked back today to see if you had anything new... and discovered you're doing some of the same exercise programs I'm doing too! Best of luck!

Re: A Fanhood Test

I would worry about the bathroom issue as well. People waited hours before the taping even began. I'm a big fan of this celebrity, but I always worry about bathroom facilities. Who would be worth that much wear and tear on my bladder?

P.S. I'm in week 3 of your c25k. Doing it for the 2nd time after a summer of inactivity. I love your playlists! I've actually done Jillian's 30 Day Shred. I did it last November/December before I started ChaLEAN Extreme. I don't know though. While I like it a lot, I'm not sure I can do it full-time. I mostly use it as an add-on nowadays. I'm worried about doing anything weight-related on consecutive days. Do you do it every day?

Re: Podcasts

iTunes and my xml playlist don't get along.
